At the age of 13, English born and raised Alex Prior has already made the world of classical music sit up and beg for more. A true musician he has 115 compositions under his belt, 15 songs and 2 arrangments for symphony orchestra.

Not just a phenomenal musician (he sings in 7 languages, plays the piano, cello, organ, harpsichord, mandolin, trumpet and french horn, composes and conducts his own arrangements... phew that was a long list!!!), Alex is a great humanitarian, as this quote taken from his website shows: "Following the tragic events of September 2004 in Beslan. Osetia, Alex composed a requiem dedicated to the children of the siege. Alex was awarded the prestigious order of the Patrons of Art in Russia for "his outstanding charity work and contribution to peace".

Of Russian and English heritage, Alex's musical nature may well be a result of genetics - he is the great grandson of Russian Theatre reformer Constantine Stanislavsky.

With 5 CDs out already and 2 videos we can't wait till Alex decides to do a worldwide tour.
