Gari Glaysher was introduced to us by Rania (one of our moderators) in Off Topic as 'A New Amazing Talented Tenor' and recommended we listen to this man with the voice of an angel. Thank you Rania - you were absolutely right!

The biography below is from Gari's official website - you can find out more about this angel-voiced tenor on his site at http://www.freewebs.com/gariglaysher/biography.htm or http://www.myspace.com/glaysher

Gari began his musical studies with piano and guitar, he finished his education at Maidstone College of Art, while still continuing his musical studies. He then went into 10 years of cabaret as a guitarist, keyboard player and lead vocalist. However his real love was opera, this meant leaving the cabaret world and going back into serious and regular vocal studies. He studies with Glyn Paul (Singing teacher), Robyn Sevastos (Music coach), Ludmilla Andrew ( Music coach), Eileen Bendell (Drama coach) and has coached with prominent vocal coach Fernando Bandera in Italy. He has also worked with many music coaches from The Guildhall School of Music and Trinity School of Music.

His first step into grand opera was as Cavaradossi in Tosca, followed by Don Jose in (Carmen), Turiddu (Cav), Canio (Pag), Rodolfo (Boheme) Alfredo (Trav) and Radames (Aida).
